Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop monthly or campaign-based online content aligned with brand and marketing objectives.
- Generate content topics based on marketing goals or business objectives.
- Structure content to match each platform format (e.g. Website, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and target audience.
- Collaborate closely with graphic, video production, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive content direction.
- Create content in various formats—articles, visuals, scripts, and videos—based on brand guidelines.
- Write articles, voice-over scripts, video scripts, or storyboards that are clear, engaging, and informative.
- Co-select and direct the mood and tone of visuals and video to match the content’s intention.
- Source high-quality stock images from platforms like Shutterstock or coordinate with production teams for original shoots.
- Produce and ensure the quality of all content meets brand standards.
- Proofread and review all content for factual accuracy, grammatical correctness, consistency in visual tone and voice.
- Revise or rewrite content as needed.
- Develop internal writing guidelines or storytelling frameworks for team-wide use.
- Continuously analyze content performance metrics (e.g. Reach, Engagement, CTR, Watch Time, etc.) for improvement.
- Propose new formats or directions to enhance content effectiveness.
- Prepare and present monthly performance reports to evaluate outcomes and guide next steps.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Join short daily briefs with the team to align on current tasks and daily content planning.
- Brainstorm and pitch content ideas based on weekly themes or active campaigns.
- Conduct in-depth research for article writing or video script development to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Write clear and concise copy for online platforms such as websites, Facebook, TikTok, IG, YouTube, and others.
- Review and give feedback on design and video drafts from the graphics or editing team.
- Coordinate with related departments (e.g. video, design, marketing) to ensure smooth workflow.
- Select and prepare images from stock sources like Shutterstock or develop moodboards for team use.
- Upload or schedule content for publishing using relevant tools or content management platforms.
- Analyze content performance (e.g. views, engagement, shares) and identify insights to improve future content.
- Summarize task progress and report feedback or concerns to team leads.
- Remain flexible to take on other tasks as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in content creation (especially writing informative and inspiring digital content).
- Strong understanding of storytelling, content structuring, and engagement techniques for digital media.
- Proficient in essential tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, After Effects, Google Drive, Canva, and task management platforms.
- Experience using digital marketing tools (e.g. social media management tools like Meta Business Suite).
- Excellent writing skills—concise, clear, attention-grabbing, and platform-appropriate.
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and ability to read insights from Meta/Facebook or YouTube Studio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communication Arts, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Highly creative, passionate about storytelling, and up-to-date with online trends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work under tight deadlines and eager to continuously learn.
- Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret data to optimize content.
- Excellent cross-platform communication skills with the ability to tailor content to suit each channel.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of handling complex content requirements.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
